Knowledge Worker with Calloused Hands

Keith is not Drucker’s typical “Knowledge Worker,” because he is both a thinker and a doer.  He has an intrinsic knowledge of high-technology and a strong financial acumen.  He is a natural servant leader who desires implementing his strong technical background and a strategic management approach to help others soar.

Credentials

Keith is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with over seven years of accounting experience.  He is a continuous learner having recently completed his MBA with a perfect 4.0 GPA.  His other degrees include a BS in Computer Science, an AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology, and an AAS in Accounting.  He also earned a certification in Project Management.

Experience

After taking early retirement from Texas Instruments, he served as an adjunct professor with the Richland College accounting department in Dallas Texas where he taught QuickBooks, Excel, and Access.  His contract business, Counting Assets LLC supports small to medium size businesses using QuickBooks.  His home improvement business Sir Fixalot LLC manages his rental property along with helping neighbors with their home improvement problems.

Keith did almost everything with Texas Instruments.  He led the software and hardware design efforts in creating unique classified systems for the Department of Defense.  Keith is well versed in many high-level programming languages along with the low development of assemblers.  One of his most challenging accomplishments includes partnering with Dolby Labs in rewriting their Dolby surround sound algorithm in machine language to integrate with the Texas Instruments digital audio processors.  He lectured and published articles on ARM Microcontroller applications.  He was considered an authority on robotic laser systems which included software, hardware, optics, and plumbing.

Personal Life

Keith resides in Garland Texas with his wife of 38 years, Karen, where they enjoy long walks with their Great Pyrenees dog, Ringo.

You’ll often find them at the Dallas Arboretum, working out at the gym or going for rides on their Harley Road King Classic.
